Unfinished Solid Hickory Hardwood Flooring for Site Finished Projects

Unfinished Solid Hickory flooring is prized for its unmatched hardness, natural durability, and distinctive visual character. Known for its wide range of color variation, Hickory features light creamy sapwood paired with darker heartwood tones that create striking contrast once finished. Because it is supplied unfinished, Hickory allows full control over sanding, staining, and finishing on site to achieve the desired final appearance.

This collection is produced in widths ranging from 2 1/4 inches through 7 inches and standard length options from 1 foot to 10 feet, with 2 foot to 10 foot lengths also available. Longer lengths may be sourced upon request for larger projects or more design driven installations. Solid Hickory flooring is installed using nail or staple down methods over plywood or wood subfloors and performs well in both residential and light commercial environments.

Multiple grade options are available within this collection to accommodate a variety of aesthetic preferences and budgets. Higher grades provide a more uniform appearance with reduced color contrast, while lower grades introduce increased natural variation, knots, and mineral streaks. As grade decreases, the amount of visual character increases, resulting in a more rustic and expressive finished floor.
