After more than 15 years in hardwood flooring, I founded Pro Hardwood because I believed the online buying experience could work better for flooring professionals and their customers.
Most online retailers use the same pricing approach for everyone. Flooring businesses do not all operate the same way. Some work on a cost-plus model. Others build profit across different parts of the project. When the purchasing experience ignores those differences, it can make it harder for professionals to protect their margin and serve their customers well.
I wanted Pro Hardwood to provide clear product information, straightforward buying options and a Trade Pro program designed with professionals in mind. I also wanted customers to find important details such as construction, grade, width, length, finish and availability without fighting through a confusing website.
That goal still guides how we build the catalog, answer questions and coordinate each order.
