Unfinished Engineered White Oak Rift & Quartered – Character Grade
Unfinished Engineered White Oak in Rift & Quartered Character Grade offers a warm, organic appearance with the added stability and refined grain structure of rift and quartered cutting. This cut produces straighter grain lines, reduced movement, and a more consistent texture while still showcasing the knots, mineral streaks, color variation, and natural character that define this grade. Ideal for rustic, modern, or transitional designs that benefit from both stability and authentic white oak personality.
Available in widths from 3" to 11", this flooring is produced in two construction options: a 5/8" thick, 9-ply Baltic birch core with a 4mm wear layer and a 3/4" thick, 11-ply Baltic birch core with a 4mm wear layer. Rift and Quartered construction provides superior dimensional stability, which is ideal for wide plank installations. Boards include tongue & groove on all four sides and square edges for a smooth site-finished surface. Standard lengths run 1'–10', with additional length options available upon request.

Shipping Overview
At Pro Hardwood, we use specialized freight carriers for shipping large hardwood flooring orders. Your product will be securely stacked on pallets and delivered curbside. Once your order is in transit, a freight representative will contact you to schedule delivery.
Transit Times & Delivery Appointments
Delivery times vary by location—generally, 2-4 days for the East/Central U.S. and 4-6 days for the West Coast. Delivery dates are estimates, and the freight carrier will contact you to schedule an appointment at least one day in advance. Be sure to inspect your shipment upon arrival.
Unloading & Pickup
Deliveries are curbside, and you may need assistance unloading. Liftgate service is not guaranteed. If you’re picking up at the freight terminal, ensure you have proper equipment and pick up within 5 business days to avoid fees.
Damage & Inspection
Inspect your shipment for accuracy and damage upon delivery. Document any issues and contact us immediately for assistance. Failure to note damage may affect claims.

Return Policy Overview
Cancellation Requests
Cancellations are handled based on the stage of the order and product type. Custom-made flooring and accessories cannot be cancelled once production begins. A restocking fee may apply for cancellations during production. If an order has shipped, restocking and shipping costs will apply. All cancellation requests must be confirmed in writing by Pro Hardwood.
Return Policy
Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase, with approval from a Pro Hardwood representative. A restocking fee applies, and customers are responsible for return shipping. Only products in original, unopened packaging are eligible for return. Special orders, custom materials, and certain other items are not returnable. Retain extra flooring materials for potential future repairs, especially for discontinued products.
