5" Unfinished Solid Rift & Quartered White Oak Character Flooring
This 5" unfinished solid rift & quartered white oak flooring in Character grade is milled to showcase straight grain and a broader plank face while preserving the natural detail that makes Character grade unique. Knots, mineral variation, and color movement create a more textured and authentic hardwood floor appearance.
Rift and quartered sawing improves dimensional stability by reducing tangential movement compared to plain sawn flooring. In a 5" width, this cut delivers a wider-plank visual while maintaining the clean, architectural grain pattern associated with rift and quartered white oak. Solid planks are commonly installed using nail or staple-down methods, and glue-assist may be recommended depending on site conditions and manufacturer requirements.
Unfinished construction allows complete finish flexibility, giving you full control over stain color and sheen applied on site. This grade is well suited for homes and projects that want a wider solid white oak plank with more natural character and custom-finished appeal. Delivery times vary by location—generally, 2-4 days for the East/Central U.S. and 4-6 days for the West Coast. Delivery dates are estimates, and the freight carrier will contact you to schedule an appointment at least one day in advance. Be sure to inspect your shipment upon arrival.
Unloading & Pickup
Deliveries are curbside, and you may need assistance unloading. Liftgate service is not guaranteed. If you’re picking up at the freight terminal, ensure you have proper equipment and pick up within 5 business days to avoid fees.
Damage & Inspection
Inspect your shipment for accuracy and damage upon delivery. Document any issues and contact us immediately for assistance. Failure to note damage may affect claims.

Return Policy Overview
Cancellation Requests
Cancellations are handled based on the stage of the order and product type. Custom-made flooring and accessories cannot be cancelled once production begins. A restocking fee may apply for cancellations during production. If an order has shipped, restocking and shipping costs will apply. All cancellation requests must be confirmed in writing by Pro Hardwood.
Return Policy
Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase, with approval from a Pro Hardwood representative. A restocking fee applies, and customers are responsible for return shipping. Only products in original, unopened packaging are eligible for return. Special orders, custom materials, and certain other items are not returnable. Retain extra flooring materials for potential future repairs, especially for discontinued products.
