Unfinished Solid Brazilian Walnut Flooring for Site Finished Projects

Unfinished Solid Brazilian Walnut hardwood flooring, commonly referred to as Ipe, is one of the densest and hardest exotic hardwood species available. Known for its rich brown coloration and tight, uniform grain pattern, Ipe delivers a clean yet powerful visual that performs exceptionally well in high traffic environments. Because it is supplied unfinished, Brazilian Walnut allows full control over sanding, staining, and finishing on site to achieve the desired final appearance.

This collection is offered in Clear Grade, providing a consistent and refined look with minimal natural defects. Planks are available in widths ranging from 2 1/4 inches through 5 inches and produced in lengths from 1 foot to 7 feet. Each board is kiln dried for stability and milled with tongue and groove on all four sides and square edges to ensure precise installation and a smooth finished surface.

Unfinished Solid Brazilian Walnut is installed using traditional nail or staple down methods over plywood or wood subfloors. Its extreme hardness makes it an ideal option for residential spaces, commercial settings, and other areas where long term durability is essential. Over time, Ipe may naturally deepen in color, adding to its distinctive character and richness.
