Unfinished Solid Brazilian Teak Flooring for Site Finished Projects
Unfinished Solid Brazilian Teak hardwood flooring, commonly referred to as Cumaru, is valued for its dense structure, rich coloration, and outstanding hardness. This South American hardwood species is significantly harder than many domestic options, making it well suited for high traffic residential spaces and light commercial environments. As an unfinished product, Brazilian Teak allows full control over sanding, staining, and finishing on site to achieve the desired final appearance.
This collection is offered in Clear Grade, providing a clean and consistent look with minimal natural defects. Planks are available in widths ranging from 2 1/4 inches through 5 inches and produced in lengths from 1 foot to 7 feet. Each board is kiln dried for stability and milled with tongue and groove on all four sides and square edges to ensure precise installation and a smooth finished surface.
Unfinished Solid Brazilian Teak is installed using traditional nail or staple down methods over plywood or wood subfloors. Its exceptional density and durability make it ideal for areas where performance is a priority, while its natural grain variation and color depth add warmth and visual interest once finished.
