Unfinished Solid Brazilian Oak Flooring for Site Finished Projects

Unfinished Solid Brazilian Oak hardwood flooring, commonly referred to as Tauari, is known for its clean appearance, smooth grain structure, and versatility in a wide range of design styles. This South American hardwood offers a lighter alternative to darker exotic species while still providing the durability and stability expected from solid hardwood flooring. Because it is supplied unfinished, Tauari allows full control over sanding, staining, and finishing on site to achieve the desired final appearance.

This collection is offered in Clear Grade, providing a refined and consistent look with minimal natural defects. Planks are available in widths of 3 1/4 inches and 5 inches and produced in lengths ranging from 1 foot to 7 feet. Each board is kiln dried for stability and milled with tongue and groove on all four sides and square edges to ensure precise installation and a smooth finished surface.

Unfinished Solid Brazilian Oak is installed using traditional nail or staple down methods over plywood or wood subfloors. Its balanced hardness and dimensional stability make it well suited for residential spaces, renovations, and light commercial environments where performance and appearance are both important.
