Unfinished Solid Brazilian Cherry Flooring for Site Finished Projects

Unfinished Solid Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring, commonly referred to as Jatoba, is valued for its deep reddish brown tones, tight grain pattern, and exceptional hardness. This South American hardwood species is significantly harder than many domestic options, making it an excellent choice for high traffic residential spaces and light commercial environments. As an unfinished product, Brazilian Cherry allows full control over sanding, staining, and finishing on site to achieve the desired final appearance.

This collection is offered in Clear Grade, providing a clean and consistent look with minimal natural defects. Planks are available in widths ranging from 2 1/4 inches through 5 inches and produced in lengths from 1 foot to 7 feet. Each board is kiln dried for stability and milled with tongue and groove on all four sides and square edges to ensure precise installation and a smooth finished surface.

Unfinished Solid Brazilian Cherry is installed using traditional nail or staple down methods over plywood or wood subfloors. Its density and strength make it well suited for areas where durability is a priority, while its natural color variation adds warmth and richness once finished. Over time, Brazilian Cherry may deepen in color as it is exposed to light, contributing to its distinctive character.
