5" Unfinished Solid Red Oak #1 Common Flooring
This 5" unfinished solid red oak flooring in #1 Common grade is a strong choice for projects that need the durability of solid hardwood with more natural character than Select & Better grade. Red oak is known for its open grain, warm tone, and excellent stain acceptance, making it one of the most trusted hardwood flooring species for jobsite-finished floors.
Plain sawn red oak provides a traditional grain pattern with the familiar look contractors, builders, and homeowners expect from solid hardwood flooring. In a 5" width, this product offers dependable 3/4" solid construction and is commonly installed using nail or staple-down methods. Glue assist may be recommended depending on site conditions and manufacturer requirements.
#1 Common grade includes more natural color variation, knots, mineral streaks, and character than Select & Better, while still offering a clean enough appearance for many residential and light commercial flooring projects. Unfinished construction allows the floor to be sanded, stained, and finished on site for a custom final look. Always test your full finish system on sample boards prior to installation.

Unloading & Pickup
Deliveries are curbside, and you may need assistance unloading. Liftgate service is not guaranteed. If you’re picking up at the freight terminal, ensure you have proper equipment and pick up within 5 business days to avoid fees.
Damage & Inspection
Inspect your shipment for accuracy and damage upon delivery. Document any issues and contact us immediately for assistance. Failure to note damage may affect claims.

Return Policy Overview
Cancellation Requests
Cancellations are handled based on the stage of the order and product type. Custom-made flooring and accessories cannot be cancelled once production begins. A restocking fee may apply for cancellations during production. If an order has shipped, restocking and shipping costs will apply. All cancellation requests must be confirmed in writing by Pro Hardwood.
Return Policy
Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase, with approval from a Pro Hardwood representative. A restocking fee applies, and customers are responsible for return shipping. Only products in original, unopened packaging are eligible for return. Special orders, custom materials, and certain other items are not returnable. Retain extra flooring materials for potential future repairs, especially for discontinued products.
